Maggie Humphrey

Born and to Erma and Samuel “Cuddin Buddy” Montgomery Sr. on August 18, 1943 in Memphis Tennessee Maggie “Sugar Pie “Elizabeth graced the world with her presence. As a teen she had a beautiful baby girl. Later her family moved to Utah. In 1951 the Montgomery family had established their roots in Los Angeles, CA. by then Maggie Humphrey was graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School. After graduating she worked various jobs. Within that time, she had her one and only baby boy. Three years later she had another beautiful baby girl. Throughout that time Maggie found Christ Jesus. Later she took on a job at the local ABC market. While working there to support her family she found the love of her life Earl Humphrey that did not stop her tenaciousness she also took on classes to become a certified nursing assistant (CNA) at General Hospital LAC-USC Medical center. During her time there she was able to obtain her certificate to become a Certified nursing assistant. Where She has served diligently for over 35 years. During her time there she was called to the children and favorited of pediatrics. In 1996 she retired with honorable recognition. Maggie was always a free spirit with an infectious smile and a twinkle in her eye. She was also a wonderful mother and grandmother. She lives in heaven with Mother and Father Erma and Samuel Sr. Son Dwayne Bridges, and her loving daughter Eva Renee Bridges precede her in death as well as, Granddaughter Ashley Stovall and brother Sam Montgomery. She leaves to cherish, and she watches over daughter Donna Lynn Montgomery. Siblings Charles Montgomery (Paula), James Montgomery, Marguerite, Tennie and Arthur Montgomery. Grandchildren Tanisha and Miracle Miller, Donnish a Belton. Dalainie Dennis. Jimmy jr, Jazzmin, Dwyane, Davante and Ladonna Stovall and an abundance of great grandchild, loved ones, nieces, nephews, and friends. Maggie lived her life to the fullest as a soft-spoken free spirit with an infectious smile along with a twinkle in her eyes. Celebrated and missed in the same breath, now we breathe for her.
