Mr Arthur Cleo Johnson II's Obituary
On April 7, 1943, Arthur Cleo Johnson was born in Los Angeles to
Arthur and Merrylee Johnson, the 3rd child of 8. He attended Centennial
High School in Compton, Ca. Arthur was a very creative man he held
many jobs and had many talents in his life he was a jack of a lot of trades. He was a master carpenter and a brick masonry was his specialty. He was a good auto mechanic and he could sing. He loved to dress and
was well known and loved by many and was affectionately known as
“Chinaman Red”.
Arthur received his calling to go home to the father on December 3, 2019 at Torrance Memorial Hospital in Torrance, Calif. He was 76 years young.
Arthur leaves to cherish his memory, 4 sisters Ethel Lee Johnson Annette Crooms, Karla Roberson Gale Luke 1 brother Eddie Roberts Jr. His Children Kimberlee Holmes, Arthur Johnson III, Arnaz Johnson, Mandaz Johnson, Nona Johnson-Martin (Alexander), Sheritha Stacy, Jerrell Stacy, Paul Johnson, Tina Johnson, Kea Johnson-Smith (Steven), Stepchildren Deshan Allen, Evelyn Courtney, Clarice Kyle. 21 Grandchildren Anthony Jr, Bryan, Cory Holmes, Lashay, Rayneshia, Arthur IV, Deandre, Alexander Jr and Adrianna Martin, Steven Jr, Christopher and Jayden Smith Paul Jr, DJ, Andria, Stephanie Johnson, Alyssa, Brianna, Darshion, Kimani, Kamori and 13 great grand kids. And a host of Niece’s, Nephews, Cousins and friends. Arthur was proceeded in death by his Father AC Johnson, Merrylee Johnson his
sister Diedra Florence, His Brother Rickie Johnson his nephews Kente Minifield and Antoine, Heaven Roberts.
