Brittany Arnette (Taylor-Davis) Squadrito went to sleep on February 8, 2022 in Downey, CA and woke up in Heaven with the Lord. Born to Karen L. Taylor and Vincent Davis on November 11, 1986, her Grandfather Calvin O. Taylor preceded her in death. Brittany married Mark Squadrito on her birthday, November 11, 2022. There are no children to this union.
Brittany confessed Jesus Christ as her personal Savior while in her youth under the direction and encouragement of her mother. She maintained a close relationship with the Lord throughout her adult life and would often call upon Him for comfort and guidance. Brittany had a very happy childhood which was filled with the love of her family and friends. She recognized her call to service others at an early age, devoting her life to working with the special needs community.
As a student at Upland High School and then Beaverton High School in Oregon, Brittany was an active member of the cheerleading squad. After graduating from high school Brittany attended Long Beach City College and was on the cheer team there as well. After graduating from LBCC, she transferred to California State University Northridge where she earned her BA in sign language. She recently completed all of the requirements for her Master Degree in Deaf Studies at CSUN. She used her love of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Studies to work as a teacher in her chosen field in LAUSD, Brea Unified School District, and Glendale Unified School District. She extended her caring arms by working in respite care at Cambrian Home Health Care and of course being a care provider to her mother.
Often known as the “Life of the party,” Brittany always had a cheerful demeanor, kind heart, compassionate ways, and a smile that could light up any room. She loved her family dearly and her friends were her world. There was nothing that she would not do for the love of family and friends. “Oh how she loved to dance!” She would dance to anything with a beat. As a child she took ballet lessons, salsa as an adult and she would choreograph anything from cheer, hip hop to a Christmas show. Her life was dedicated to providing care for all of those that she held near and dear to her heart. She was the epitome of love.
