Bruce Rucker was such a beautiful human. I met Bruce at DreamWorks Records where we worked together for years. To know Bruce was to love Bruce. Always happy. Always positive. Always funny and kind. Though we hadn't seen each other for probably 20 years, we stayed connected through social media and I loved seeing him all over the place on his bike and loving his Lakers. My heart broke when I learned of his passing. The world was a better place with Bruce in it and he will be missed terribly. RIP Brucie.
Bruce Rucker, The first one you meet at Motown or hidden beach. He may not have run the show but he could! Thank you for your help and guidance through this obstacle course at both. You had my back in the office and on the courts. God bless you and your family through this time ππΎππΎππΎππΎ
My heart is so broken to have lost our guy. His loving and caring spirit will live on through us allβ¦
I had the privilege and honor to work with and get to know Bruce at Hidden Beach. To him I was always "Mr. P". It was hard to ever be in a bad mood around Bruce. He was always so positive and warm. Bruce, never had a bad word to say about anyone and if he was ever having a bad day you would never know as he always had a smile on his face and was always ready to offer his assistance in any and every way possible. He truly was the embodiment of the spirit of everything Hidden Beach stood for and he will be sorely sorely missed.
Ruck (as I affectionately called him) was one of the most incredible guys I've ever met. Every morning, he greeted me with "my guy Tee" when we crossed paths. There's just no one like him, and I am honored to have met him and shared a space in life with him. He was one-of-a-kind and will be sorely missed. Godspeed and light, Ruck! Rest well, friend.
Bruce was a great guy. His positive energy was a welcome part of our team at Hidden Beach. We first met at MoJazz in the 90s and to have the blessing of working with him twice in my lifetime is not lost on me. Incredibly private, I was moved when he began to share parts of his life outside of the office. Learning about his love for custom bikes to his kids, it only added color and dimension to a man Iβd met as a boy and had grown into himself before my very eyes. Rest well, Bruce. You will be missed.
Bruce was AMAZING!!!! I worked with him at Hidden Beach Recordings and he became like a brother to me. He was ALWAYS so positive and held us all down. No job was too big or small for B. Rucker and even when I moved back home to North Carolina, Bruce still held me down. He will be missed by many. Rest well my good brother. Nothing but LOVE for YOU!!!
