Charlie Mangram's Obituary
Charlie Mangram Jr. was born in Matador Texas on October 6, 1928 the lh child of 9 children to Charlie Mangram Sr. and Hulla Mangram. His mom Hulla passed when he was 13 years old in 1941 and thefamily later moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Charlie Mangram Jr. joined the United States Army where he mar:ried Karetha Mangram and they later moved to California. Out of this union they had 5 children, Sandra Kay who passed as a young baby, Loyd (Keith), Debbie, Reggie and Deidra.
Dad worked for G.A.F. Corporation where he was a maintenance mechanic for over 20 years. He also had a green thumb and loved gardening. He loved singing and sung in numerous gospel groups. He built barbeque pits in his spare time and he was never too busy to help out anyone on Amantha Street and in the neighborhood.
He leaves to mourn his death, his son Loyd Keith Mangram, daughter and son in law Debbie Mangram-Banks (and Paul), son and daughter in law Reggie Mangram (and Angie) and Deidra Mangram-Harris.
8 Grandchildren, Petie Camacho, Shannon Grinstead (who proceded him in death) Sheri Mangram, Cameron Banks, Courtney Banks, Nesha Harris, Aaron Mangram and Christian Mangram. 6 Great grandchildren, Dejanai Camacho, DeVante Grinstead, Camryn and Saniyya Camacho, Kaylee and Karina Banks.
He also leaves to mourn his death his (three) brothers Odie, Joe and Obner Mangram and (one) sister Sedalia Bynum and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
