Douglas E. Graham's Obituary
Douglas Eugene Graham was born to Robert and Juanita Graham on March 16, 1948. The Graham family eventually settled in Los Angeles, CA, which included Douglas, Wayne, Nina, who were born in Memphis, TN, and Celecia who was born in Los Angeles, CA.
Douglas was an athletic child who grew into a teenager that competed in track and field at George Washington High School, where he became an All-Star sprinter and City Champion. These achievements remain a source of pride for his loved ones. Music was also a closely held passion and his love of vocal performance inspired him to form a singing group with his high school friends.
In adulthood his intellectual talents led him to earn a Bachelors and Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at California State University, Los Angeles.
Douglas departed on August 21, 2022 and joined his parents, Robert and Juanita, who preceded him in death. May their souls rest together.
He is survived by Brenda Joyce Graham, his former wife and mother to his son, Ryan Douglas Graham; a daughter-in-law, Fiona Graham and one grandchild, Alexander Ryan Graham. He is also survived by his brother, Wayne Graham and his wife Annie Graham, and his two sisters, Nina Graham and Celecia Graham-Jones and her husband Ronald Jones. We also acknowledge a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
