I'm so sorry to hear/see that Eric is gone! I've been trying to contact him for weeks. He didn't answer his phone or emails. Now I know why.
What happened?
You will be missed my friend. I always enjoyed your incite and profound explanations of the deep meaningful things in life.
Praise God for His redemptive, regenerating Spirit. Lasting impression: Eric looked so sharp and handsome in his suit and tie at my husband's funeral in 2019. It was a comfort to see him there, with sister Regina and other friends and family. One day, as I unloaded groceries from my car, Eric rode up on his bicycle and asked if I was "alright," and I thanked him for his concern, and told him that God gives me strength for each day. He told me that God sustains him, too, that he holds on to his faith in God.
And on July 4, 2021, a neighbor had a barbeque for friends and family and Eric joined in and was welcomed and seemed to have such a good time, enjoying the food and music, the warm sunshine, and interacting with the youngsters. He was happy!
What happiness God provides for those who have gone before us, I believe Brother Eric is whole and happy in the presence of his Lord.
