Joesetta McClain's Obituary
Joesetta McClain was born February 14, 1963, in Los Angeles,
California. Joesetta was called to rest and earned her wings on
November 11, 2015. She was the loving daughter of Clyde Adams
and Shirley McClain. Joesetta professed Christ at an early age and
was baptized at Trinity Baptist Church in Los Angeles.
Joesetta grew up in Los Angeles, California, where she received
her early education at San Pedro Elementary School. She continued
her secondary education at John Adams Junior High School
and was a graduate of Fremont High School in 1983. Because of
her belief in education, Joesetta continued her studies at Southwest
Community College, where she earned her certification in Criminal
Justice.
While in school, Joesetta worked as a crossing guard a~ she studied
at night. Once she received her certification, she pursued a career
in the Security field. She worked various assignments throughout
the greater Los Angeles area, where she met many people who
loved Joesetta for her honesty and witty personality. Joesetta loved
her work and was dedicated to providing exceptional service on
all of her assignments and details.
Preceding Joesetta in death were her father, Clyde Adams; grandmother,
Bertha Mae Williams; and four uncles, Jake Williams, Sr.,
Murray Williams, Earl Williams and Jeff Williams. Those remaining
to cherish her precious memories are her companion, David
Morrow; her mother, Shirley McClain; one brother, Michael R.
Survert, Sr. (Dionne); one sister, Shenekia Scott; and a host of
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
