I met Kavonna during a travel nurse assignment. I believe it was her first travel assignment. She had recently finished NP school. I was quickly taken aback by her drive and work ethic. She had so many goals, and was determined to make every one of them happen. She worked A LOT, but still always made time for her friends and family. She was a true believer in self care and self worth. I so admired and respected how much she valued her time, and believed in herself. She not only had a degree, but an advanced degree. She genuinely loved helping people. She bought her own home. She traveled on her own; in and out of the country. She never let anything get in the way of doing what she wanted to do. I’m so thankful to have met such an amazing woman. Kavonna was, and is, a true inspiration. She is deeply missed.
