Obia Wallace's Obituary
Obia P. Wallace was born January 2, 1928 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Ollie and Clarence Littlejohn. She was the eighth of nine children who are now all resting with mom and dad in heaven.
She was raised in Haskell, Oklahoma where she attended school, met and married her sweetheart Leandrew Wallace on December 13, 1947. To this union was born five children.
In 1956 they moved to California. Obia was such a kind, gentle, loving, and often times a strong and stern mother; while her husband worked and took care of the family.
She joined Truevine Baptist Church in 1959, Pastor Joe Allen Smith, Pastor LA Keese, and Pastor Austin F. Williams.
Obia truly loved her husband and her family. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories her children, two daughters, Earma Wallace (Patrick) of Compton, CA; Carnegie Bowen (Rodney preceded in death) of Moreno Valley, CA; three sons, Lee Wallace (Kelle) of Moreno Valley, CA; Bruce Wallace (Wanda) of Moreno Valley, CA; Reginald Wallace (Roxanne) of Kansas City, MO ; eighteen grandchildren; thirty eight great grandchildren; one brother in law, Henderson Wallace (Bettye) of Oakland, CA; one aunt, Aretha Smith of Anchorage, AK and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
