Dear Cousin Rosetta and Family,
I am saddened to hear of the passing of Sylvia. Although I had most recently seen her a few years before the pandemic, I can’t help but to reminisce on our adolescent years when you would travel with Sylvia and her sisters to visit our family in North Carolina. This was such a special time for me because I had family that lived, on what I considered, “the other side of the world.” I still cherish that time! Please know that your family in NC shares in your grief and loss at this time. “Where do I go when there’s no where to turn to / Feel all alone wandering why I am / Where do I go when I need familiar / Woman hold my hand.”
